Instructor: Hong Ly
Hong Ly, Concept Artist/Art Director with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He has worked as a concept artist at Naughty Dog, the game development studio behind hits like The Last of Us and the Uncharted series, and Riot Games, the Los Angeles-based game development studio behind the eSports phenomenon League of Legends. He has also worked on a wide range of game projects, from The Incredibles, Spongebob Squarepants, Indiana Jones, Fallout, and several other shipping titles. Founder and creative director of Captive Style, LLC, where he produced characters for clients, including Samsung’s Everland theme park in South Korea.
He is also an instructor at Art Center College of Design, ranked among the top graduate design programs in the United States, Otis College of Art and Design, and Gnomon School of VFX. Launched the site www.CharacterDesigns.com a free resource for artists
